About Me
Teaching Career: I have been teaching in Shelby since 2006. Most of my time here has been spent teaching history in either 6th or 7th grade, although I have also worked at the high school level teaching science and history as well. Before coming to Shelby, I taught math and science in grades 7 - 9 at Three Oaks Academy in Muskegon for a year. In addition to teaching, I have helped to coach Science Olympiad and am currently the varsity sideline cheer coach.
Education: I grew up just south of Shelby and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1996. After high school, I got my bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and later earned my Master's Degree from Nova Southeastern University.
